Tool came with three rust spots. I take care of my tools and would never allow rust to take hold of any of them! I can’t believe that I had to pay for a “new” tool that came with rust does not make me happy!

I love this tool! I don’t know how I have gone without one for this many years. I use it for everything, it is well made, fits good in my hand, and is tough enough to digs holes in our hard ground to plant flowers. With all I have paid for all the hand trowels I’ve broken, I could have bought two! The only complaint I have is that I wish the sheath was of better quality instead of plastic.

Very versatile tool for gardening and general yard/house utility work. Purchased one over a year ago, and have used it heavily. Like it for planting bulbs, small-container ground cover, and annuals. Decent for mixing/lightening heavy adobe clay soil with sand; but, consider using a used GI folding shovel for this task. Excellent for planting plants within stone hardscaping or in between flagstones. Not efficient for planting plants >1 gallon, especially in clay soil. If you need a larger, more capable garden knife-like tool, consider the Cold Steel Kukri Machete.
