Good length, making it easy to handle when filled with dirt. Plastic is somewhat thin. No pre-made holes though this could be an advantage as it looks like it comes with a water tray to place under it, but it does not, at least not from this vendor. Gets the job done, which is what I needed.

I bought this for my grandma when she saw it & said she needed one like this to transplant a plant she got for Mother’s Day. I ordered this over the weekend & it came on the 25th, & waited until today to repot the plant she received. It’s surprisingly light, even when it’s nearly filled to the brim with dirt. The length is just long enough for me to hold it comfortably, which is great, considering that I’m 5’4″. My grandma’s 76 years old & in fairly robust health &, while she has a harder time handling things of this size, she can also lift it with a little bit of effort.

I gave it 4 stars because the picture is misleading. There is no tray attached to the bottom of the planter, but there are 4 punch-out holes at the bottom of the planter if you need water drainage. (We can’t use them because we live in an apartment building.)

As an aside: If you order this, be sure to air it out before you use it. When we received our planter, we had to put it on the porch overnight because it stunk to high heaven. I have no idea where they store their stock of this planter, but it arrived bearing a sour/bitter & acidic chemical-y smell. It was awful.

Other than all this, she’s very pleased with it. I’ve uploaded pictures of the box in the gallery for your viewing pleasure.
